I'm taking photographs again! :-)

When I started this blog, I had a picture of a common household lamp as my first photograph. Now, I tend to start taking pictures again, but my aspirations are not that great, so this time there is only candles. ;-)

I pulled out my camera the other day, to dust is a little. (Even if I don´t get to use it much, I like to keep my equipment clean... ;-)) I had some minutes to spare that day, so I went for a drive, to see if a motif would show up. As it happened, I ended up by a chapel reasonably close to where I live, so I started to shoot. I have got another photo of this chapel in the archive of the blog, so this is not exactly a novel motif for me. My other photo of the chapel resembles this one in some way (it is processed in a similar way), but I´m taking the chance of uploading it non the less.

Another one from my trip last weekend. This is a little more abstract than many of my other photographs, but I liked the effect. It made the forest look a little more interesting... Thanks to Buster for teaching me a couple of tricks here...

Finally a new photo on my blog! Thanks to my friends Buster and Sander, I got a trip out with my camera today, and it resulted in some nice images (or at least I think so...). It was cold though, being a the sea in wind at 12 degrees Celsius below zero made me concentrate on holding my camera still...

This photo here is close to the first shot I made today, and I will be blogging a couple more from this trip in the days to come.

My 2-year old son is the man behind many of my photos these days. Both directly of course, by being in the photo, and indirectly. This is one of the photos he contributed more indirectly to. He happen to sleep well in the car, so I took him for a drive today. I ended up in an old fortified town, and luckily I had brought my camera. I had just about an hour or so, and I did not get to take many photos, but I think this one worked out all right.

This is from the same trip to the mountains as the previous one. It differs from the previous however, in that this is my first HDR image ever. It is made out of one single image. I have been kind of slow to start surfing the HDRi wave, but I wanted to give it a try. I think this image worked ok, so I might try this again.

On a trip up to our cabin in the mountains a week ago, I had an opportunity to spend some time with my camera. I´ll be blogging a couple of the images I took that day. Partly to prepare myself for autumn and winter...

Another from my trip to Cornwall, UK, this summer. My family and I went by steam train to a playing field in the woods. The train was built in the mid 1850, and used to function as an express train in the London area. It was a very nice trip! :-)

This was taken inside a cathedral in the south west part of UK. I really like visiting cathedrals, there is always an tremendous amount of small details to investigate, and I like the peace that most cathedrals bring...
