Making pictures, the best I can
and thanks for checking in on my photo blog!
Photography has been a passion of mine, almost for as long as I can remember. I remember picking up my fathers Olympus with great interest as a kid, just wanting to start shooting. That, of course, I was not allowed to do; film was rather expensive, and nothing to be played with. To squeeze as much as possible out of the film, the camera used only half of an ordinary 36 mm frame, effectively making it a crop camera.
Anyway, my interest for photography has been consistent for many years now, and is the only hobby I have maintained throughout the years. I don’t think I have one specific style in my photography; I take pictures of landscapes and people, I like shooting in urban environments, and enjoy macro photography. My post-production techniques is not very homogeneous either; sometimes I like converting pictures to black and white, sometimes I like enhancing the colors. I process the image until I think it looks good, I do not necessarily keep my images very close to the captured “reality”.
I find photography the ultimate aspirational activity; looking at my surroundings through the lens often reveal new and interesting points of view. I find that photography is a place to wonder, because every perspective can change. And if you change the perspective, you change the object.
So thank you for stopping by, I hope you'll enjoy the photos!
