This is taken on another of my walks with my son. I’m not sure about this one, the scene was quite pleasing in real life, but as a photograph it might be missing something… UPDATE: In line of the very useful and constructive comments posted here I now have updated the image. I think it is an improvement, thank you very much for this feedback! :-)

• Hi Trond, your experience with this picture is a problem of the most photographer. That's the reason why i use graphic software for postprocessing. I have allowed the image download and a little working on it. The result i send you per mail. My one problem, i not seen the landscape in live. Small service for a friendly guy ;-)

• Well, this is indeed our job as photographers, to somehow transfer the images we see on to film or sensor. However, it's just not always possible to capture what out great eyes are able to see. However, these is loads of mood in this image. I love light shafts like this and in fact sometimes light shafts can appear more visible in an image than in real life. I really enjoy this image Trond. The only thing I would suggest is to perhaps to open up the shadows a little but in the tree in the lower left which looks a little dark on my monitor and perhaps crop in slightly from the left to get rid of the little branches next to the tree. Very nice scene!
